Such tenderness <3 thank you mama. I love this reminder of our pain being living angels of purpose, serving to protect our hearts and spirits. It is a beautiful way to remember those delicate emotions as significant in our processes of healing.
Deep and gorgeous as always. Loved this one. I resonated with so much of what you wrote here having experienced similar losses. Universal mama love to you!
Thank you so much for this. I lost my grandfather a week ago today, and have been deep in the process of grief and loss and pain, so to read these words felt like a tender balm to my soul. Thank you.
Thank you, Asia, for this tender exploration of the pain of our empty womb before its time. I think lamentation is another way to sit with it and to let it deepen us from within. Bless you for creating such a space for us.
I loved reading this. These words fed my soul so much. I was a mama almost 40years ago and I still am drawn to read expressions of truth as this, the wisdom spoken from you who are bearing and raising children now. I still love to cheer every mama on. I see you. I love you.
I just want to share this because I am only a few steps ahead of you along the timeline of this lifetime. Know this, that no matter what you go through, and the length of the journey, in every loss, especially the big and unexpected ones - somehow, the sweetness of surrender, the being held in a soft, all-knowing love is always there, somehow. And everything is going to be okay.
This message brought tears to my eyes Theresa. Thank you. Thank you for sharing here, for seeing us, for gazing back from where you are and offering us the profound gift of knowing there is sweetness, there is respite, there is love ahead.
thanks for sharing, Asia. I've been thinking about grief and pain a lot lately these past few years after losing so much, and having it consume me, and watching it change over time.
