Thank you so much for these beautiful words that my mother spirit needed so deeply on this day, Asia. Words to uplift my heavy heart. God bless the mothers. 🙏🏽❤️
“Bringing a child down like a star” ... ⭐️ As a mama to five babies (all of whom I carries through Christmas and into spring), this essay reminds me of the sacredness of pregnancy. Thank you so much. So exquisite!
These words were sl stunning. Thank you. I csnt describe the sensation that swept through my body, it feels extra tender as I consider myself still freshly postpartum (4 months ). Thank you, thank you ❤️
Ahhh, again! Heart blown wide open. Thanks for offering a new way to connect to a season that can be “a lot” for anyone, but maybe in a particular way for mothers. So healing.
As I’m not yet a mother, it’s never been so clear to me through physical sensations of knowing like it was for you.
However, reading your words, I felt like it all makes more sense now.
And as a social scientist by background, I love how different cultures celebrate around this time, all focused around birth. Also Persians with Yalda Night on the 21st which I love learning more about through my Persian boyfriend.
New follower and catching up on your beautiful words. I’m a mama to two girls, 21 months and 6 weeks. Im also a HSPs. Reveling and resonating with so much of what you share on your motherhood journey. This post taught me something new: my birthday is December 20th and I never knew it is known as Mother’s Night. My birthday has never been super special to me…but now it has a whole new meaning. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing with us. ❤️❤️
